Terms of Sale and Delivery
These terms apply to the purchase of products available in the A-Vinduet online store and are regularly updated. When the buyer places an order, it constitutes a binding agreement in accordance with these terms. If written form is required in these terms, this can be achieved using electronic messages. It is important to note that the A-Vinduet online store cannot enter into agreements with minors without parental or legal representative consent. Only persons over 18 years old have the right to enter into a purchase agreement.

Ordering
Please note that by placing an order, you accept a binding responsibility. After a successful order, you will receive confirmation information that can be printed. This information will include details of the ordered items, prices in Norwegian kroner (NOK) including VAT, and the total amount to be paid, including any delivery costs and fees. Note that all ordered goods are custom-made according to your specifications, so it is not possible to cancel the order.
In the A-Vinduet online store, you can only purchase items that have an “Add to Cart” button. Prices and availability of goods may change without notice. If you placed an order before a price change, the price at the time of order will apply.
A-Vinduet reserves the right to refuse to enter into a purchase agreement through the online store and not deliver ordered goods or provide the service in the following cases:
1. If production of the ordered goods becomes impossible.
2. Incorrect display of prices or product details in the online store due to system errors.
If A-Vinduet cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you and refund any amount already paid.
Payment
After placing an order, the buyer will receive an invoice at the email address provided during the order. Payment must be made via online banking in Norwegian kroner (NOK).
Alternative payment methods such as Visa and Mastercard are also available.
It is important to note that production of the ordered goods can only begin after 50% of the total order cost has been paid and confirmed via invoice. Alternatively, production can start after 100% payment when using Visa or Mastercard in our online store. If the buyer does not make the payment, the ordered goods will not be produced.
Order Confirmation
Once A-Vinduet has approved the order, a personal message is sent to the buyer’s email address with all necessary information regarding received payment and other important details. The seller will also contact the buyer via the email address provided during the order.
Prices and Delivery Costs
All prices listed in A-Vinduet’s online store are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT.
A-Vinduet reserves the right to change product prices in the online store at any time without notice. At the time of order, the buyer must pay the current price.
Delivery costs depend on the buyer’s location and the quantity of ordered goods. The online store offers the possibility of free delivery from the list of offered options or direct delivery to the buyer’s address, which may incur additional costs. These costs are calculated individually for each buyer.
Important Information
Product dimensions are given in width and height and always reflect the external dimensions of the product, not the dimensions of niches or openings in your home. A-Vinduet continuously develops products and reserves the right to make changes in design, construction, and material selection without notice to keep up with new technology developments.
Products ordered at different times may have production differences and therefore may not be identical.
For installation, A-Vinduet always recommends using qualified professionals familiar with the installation process. Proper installation largely depends on the product type and the buyer’s property specifications.
Transport Damage and Delivery
Purchased goods are delivered to the address provided when ordering. The buyer must ensure access for the delivery vehicle and must be present at the time of delivery. For small items, absence is considered acceptance of delivery without presence. For large orders, the buyer must assist the driver with unloading.
Delivery is considered complete once goods are unloaded at or as close as possible to the delivery address. If the truck cannot reach the address, delivery is considered complete when items are placed as close as possible.
Any delays or extra costs caused by the buyer, such as waiting time or failed delivery attempts, will be charged to the buyer according to the transporter’s invoice.
Upon receipt, the buyer should inspect packaging for damage or errors and verify the number of boxes before signing. Any damage or missing items must be documented with photos and sent to A-Vinduet’s email.
A receipt without remarks about damages or missing items does not allow for a complaint. Absence at delivery is considered “receipt without remarks.”
Right to Cancel Purchase
The right to cancel does not apply to goods from A-Vinduet, as all items are custom-made to individual customer needs and measurements. All goods produced after order (non-standard items) are specifically tailored. By purchasing, the buyer agrees that the right to cancel does not apply.
Complaints
If you notice defects or errors, submit a written complaint with photo evidence to support@avinduet.no
within 14 days of delivery. Buyers can request compensation equivalent to the purchased item cost or request a replacement of the damaged item.
Items that have been installed or handled after delivery are considered accepted. Warranty and complaint rights are void if:
- Goods were not properly stored in a dry and secure place.
- Installation was done incorrectly.
Compensation and Liability
The buyer cannot claim compensation exceeding the cost of the purchased goods.
A-Vinduet is not liable for damage caused by sold goods to persons, property, or premises after delivery. A-Vinduet is not responsible for loss of income, lost profits, or other financial losses.
Warranty
- PVC Window Profiles: 10 years for cracks, color changes, or deformation (does not cover lack of maintenance or chemical damage).
- Fitting Systems: 5 years (replacement of parts possible; warranty valid only with proper installation, maintenance, and adjustment).
- Insulated Glass Deformation: Coverage for condensation inside argon-filled units.
- Insulated Glass Cracks: Cracks may occur due to installation errors, thermal shock, or pressure differences; photos help determine cause.
Warranty claims require order date, customer info, detailed description/complaint, and photos.
Changes to Terms
A-Vinduet reserves the right to amend these terms, including updates due to legislation changes.
Privacy Policy and Data Processing
Personal data provided during ordering (name, address, email, phone) is only used to process the order and is not shared with outsiders. Data servers are secured by A-Vinduet or their IT partner.
Buyers may request information about stored personal data and can request deletion after order and delivery.
